The Journal of International Legal Communication (JILC) is currently accepting submissions for its upcoming issue. We invite scholars, researchers, legal practitioners, PhD candidates, and interdisciplinary authors to submit academic articles exploring the complex intersections between law, language, and communication.

As an international, peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal, JILC provides a dynamic platform for high-quality research at the crossroads of legal communication, comparative law, legal linguistics, and digital transformation in legal systems.

We welcome your ideas for guest-edited academic issues

Are you working on an emerging legal topic that deserves broader academic attention? Do you coordinate a research project, conference, or international collaboration related to legal communication, digital transformation in law, or interdisciplinary legal studies?

The Journal of International Legal Communication (JILC) invites scholars and research teams to propose Special Issues for consideration by the editorial board. We are open to innovative, focused themes that align with the journal’s mission and contribute to global academic dialogue.

🔍 What We Are Looking For:

✔️ Well-defined thematic proposals related to

  • Legal communication and discourse
  • Comparative and international legal systems
  • Legal translation and multilingualism
  • AI and digital transformation in law
  • Public legal communication and access to justice
  • Legal education in a globalized world

✔️ Proposals from international research teams or institutions
✔️ Guest editors with academic and/or professional expertise in the topic

📩 What to Include in Your Proposal:

  • Working title of the Special Issue

  • A brief description (300–500 words) of the proposed theme and its relevance
  • Suggested scope of topics or article types

  • Optional: List of potential contributors or target audiences

  • Short bios of guest editor(s)
